True Story Judys Boutique Adventure Not too long ago, I was running errands and, having a little extra time, decided to check out a clothing boutique that I had always been curious about. This was a very nice shop that carried, mostly, high-priced lines. Not what I usually buy but what I might splurge on every once in while. My mind-set was I could be persuaded if it looks great on me. There wasnt anyone else in the store. I was the only customer. For that reason alone, you would think the sales women would be delighted to

help me. But when the little bell on the door chimed, they glanced my way exactly once and then went back to whatever it was they were chatting about. Now if the owner was there, things might have been different. Still, I thought it was really odd that here is someone in an otherwise empty store who might buy something, maybe enough to make their monthly commission, and yet they did nothing at all. So I ended up looking at the nice things they had and left without spending a penny. That very nice boutique in an affluent shopping area by the way closed its doors after being in business exactly one year and two months. No big surprise. Are you making it hard for people to do business with you? Certainly not intentionally, but I see it happen all the time: weblinks that go nowhere, offers without information about what to do next, brochures that are jam-packed with lots of irrelevant verbiage, and so on. If these small businesses are making money, its in spite of the marketing theyre doing–surely not because of the marketing Im seeing. I want to encourage you to make the buying process for your customers and prospects a no-brainer. In fact, you want to make the buying process so easy and pleasurable, that your customers only focus is enjoying the benefits that come from using your products and services. So how do you make the buying process easy and enjoyable for your customers and prospects? Creating an experience that makes buying easy and enjoyable

Regardless of whether you interact with customers in a brick and mortar place or in cyberspace, the sights, sounds, speed of interaction, ease of getting what they want, etc. all leave an impression–positive or negative. Why not do what you can to make the experience as positive and rewarding as possible? It can be something very simple. For example, when I entered the store, one of the salespersons could have looked at me, smiled, and said Hi, how are you today? That simple greeting, her acknowledgment, would have greatly improved my experience. And as I was browsing, if someone had come up and said, Is there anything in particular I can help you with? that would have added points as well. Notice this doesnt require them to be at my every beck and call. These are small actions that would have acknowledged my presence and would have eased the way towards a purchase. Nope. Im suggesting small, low-cost or no-cost activities that have a pot entially large payout. In the cyberworld, you cant literally smile at someone and offer to help. But there are still lots of small things you can do to improve your customers experience and improve their likelihood of buying something, of coming back to buy more, and to send their friends and colleagues to your site. For example, when it comes to retail websites, Amazon.com remains one of my favorites. Especially for browsing and buying books and media. If Im looking for something specific, I usually find what I want

quickly and I have always loved their one-click purchasing option. In addition to the making the mechanics of searching for and purchasing easy, Amazon offers opportunities for social interaction such as customer reviews, Listmania, So youd like to … guides, discussion boards, and more. When it comes to social interaction, Amazon.com is not MySpace nor is it trying to be but for someone like myself who does a lot of research and reading, Amazon.com remains very high on my list in terms of usability, usefulness, and overall customer experience. Bottom Line If people are showing interest in your products and services but arent buying, you may be unintentionally making the buying process confusing, difficult, or just plain unpleasant. Dont leave money on the table. A few small actions may be all it takes to significantly improve your customers buying experience and your bottom line.

I often flinch from awarding 5 stars to any product because I believe there is always room for improvement. However, in this case, I feel it is warranted. I read all reviews, both pros and cons, and decided to try this mattress as a replacement for our old spring mattress. My husband and I went first to the leading mattress stores and tried out the best (?) foam mattress they had. Very

nice! And, we discussed on the way home about any noticeable smell as, generally, that was the biggest complaint given on Amazon reviews. Both agreed the smell was not decernable, however, we did not know how long the mattress had been standing on the shop floor. Well, at less that 20% percent of the store price my husband told me to go ahead and pick one off of Amazon and this one is it.

DO- do your shopping first by trying one of these foam beds in a reputable mattress store! You must be aware that they are firm and the feel is quite different from a inner spring mattress. Having done that; feel is good, and smell doesn't concern you too much, I'd say go ahead and purchase it from Amazon.

My comments are (1) mattress arrived in a timely manner, exactly

as stated rolled up and packed tightly. My husband and I, (both in our 60's) were able to get it up the stairs and onto our box spring. (2)(Caution – this mattress is HEAVY!)(3)It upfolded quickly as in under 3 hours and (4)the smell was there but minor problem to us.

We left it in our spare bedroom for a week and then switched mattresses from spare room to ours. Perfect! Smell pretty much gone (unless you stick your face right in it). I got a soft bed topper to cushion the firmness somewhat. Added really comfy sheets. Bliss! I like the fact that I no longer feel like I am always rolling into my hubby, who is half again my size and there is no bouncing around when either he or I move around. My four year old grandson came to stay with us when his whole family, including

him, had the flu last week and he wanted to sleep in our bed. Seriously, we had a really hard time getting him out of the bed. His mom called to check on him and he said he wanted in stay at our house because he was soooo comfy in our bed. And little kids don't lie about something like that. After five days of illness, that was the first time I saw that child sound asleep. I know it wasn't just the bed, but it helped and he never once mentioned the smell. Also, he has minor breathing problems, (since birth) and there was no reaction to this mattress. So.

If you want a very reasonable priced mattress, want firmness and support with no bounce and are not too sensitive to smell. This mattress could be a very good fit. We are very pleased.

In the sweet spot you rarely notice reflections even though its a glossy screen unless you sit at an off angle or the screen goes totally black – 90 plus percent of the time reflections are not an issue unlike a plasma (was owned and hated for reflections/washout)which can be a twenty/four seven mirror with daytime washout whereas this has no problems staying bright and vibrant even in a sunny room without seeing yourself in the panel. Did a basic calibration with a Disney Wow disk and believe me everything is WoW on a Blu-Ray. Blu-Ray and HD broadcasts are stunning with one Caveat – if you're expecting a Kuro Esque or new Sharp Elite or Sony HX929 black background during black screen credits forgettaboutit!

In a dark room I can see some screen uniformity issues with edge bleed and clouds that is disappointing – however, I never observed those artifacts during content display material especially for example Tron Legacy 3D had deep blacks and was simply amazing – while 3D is not perfect yet I am finding some content to be friggin awesome to observe and I like it and saw almost no ghosting of last years model. If your a stickler for the pure blackwhite streaming credits or perfect non-content uniformity in a totally dark rooom with all the lights out at night and you have surplus cash to burn then go for the HX929 Sony or Sharp Elite but again – I remind myself that those panels would cost me 2-3 times what I paid for this Samsung and the 65 Sony isn't available for a few months and I dont believe Vanns sells the Elite 70″ to tradeup and I dont think you have return rights with Vanns otherwise I may consider it. Overall, this TV kicks out fantastic PQ and asthetically is beauti ful on/off but you wont believe how small a 60″ TV can be until you view this “picture window” model

which is why I can understand Samsung developing a 70-75 for 2012. Sound appears to be fine considering its slimness but I have a professional surround system and so its an area I cannot rate but I can't imagine anyone spending this money for a home theater and not having a sound system interfaced to it as thats the other half of BluRay folks. I would rate this panel a 4.5 out of 5 as it falls short with black screen uniformity at night in a dark room with edge bleed and clouding but its not something I can see during normal viewing of HD Source. Microdimming falls short of Sharp Elite and Sony HX929 local dimming full backlit where I'd award a 5 but at a significant cost increase of course. My strategy is to wait a year and rotate this TV to my other room and get a 70″ Elite Gen2 panel and by then the pricing by Sharp may be such that I end up with two TV's for the price I'd pay for Gen1 Elite today. Patience is Bitter but it's Fruit is SWEET! Enjoy! —-
